EUR/USD starting the week above 1.3050
The EUR/USD foreign exchange rate is last quoted at 1.3073, off interbank pre-opening lows, little changed from previous weekly close Friday.
EUR/USD ready to test Wed's highs
“After shooting up on Monday after Bernanke’s question and answer session the EUR/USD pulled back on Thursday and Friday giving back some gains although each of those days producing fairly sizeable candle wicks having trouble finding sellers,” said Jordan Lindsey, analyst at JCL's Forex , adding: “The pair looks ready to resume out of a pullback to test Wednesday’s high.”
EUR/USD key technical levels
Immediate resistance to the upside for EUR/USD shows at recent session/Friday's NY highs 1.3086/90, followed by Thursday's late NY session highs at 1.3123, and early Thursday's London session highs at 1.3145. To the downside, closest support lies at recent session lows 1.3052, followed by early Thursday NY session lows at 1.3005, followed by Friday's lows at 1.2997, and June 28 lows at 1.2987.
