Japan’s Motegi: Japan maintains primary budget surplus target
Japanese Economy Minister Motegi is on the wires now, via Reuters, noting that Japan’s government maintains primary budget surplus target in order to reassess the target in next year's mid-term review.
His comments come in response to the recent reports of Japan’s PM Abe likely to defer the timing for balancing a primary budget from the current fiscal 2020 to later in the decade.
