Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 49 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6326 from 6.6277) and 27 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6353. The basket implied change is 32 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6321 from 6.6353)."
