PBOC to conduct MLF operation on Monday

On Friday, the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) said that it will conduct Medium-Term Lending (MLF) facility operation on Monday, August 17.

The Chinese central bank will roll over maturing MLF that day, making liquidity injections to support the markets.

The PBOC injected 400 billion yuan via one-year medium-term lending (MLF) facility at 2.95% in July.
